Who we are:

Foster Care Support is a 501c3 non-profit organization with the mission to:

  • Enrich the lives of Georgia's foster children
  • Help acquire and retain foster parents

What we do:

  • We serve a vital and growing need throughout the state of Geogia by providing free clothing, infant equipment and developmental toys to thousands of foster children in foster care. We also serve grandparents raising grandchildren and relatives caring for relative's children for a limited time.
  • We partner with Georgia's Department of Family and Children Services for child referral, verification, foster parent recruiting, and foster parent training. We serve basic care foster children residing in DFCS county homes and private agency foster homes

How we do it:

  • We receive financial support and donations of new and slightly used items from individuals, organizations, and companies (no government funds).
  • We receive the help of thousands of volunteers annually who can see the results of their efforts.
  • Nothing is sold to our foster children. Metro area foster parents and children come to our Distribution Center to "shop" for free goods, or we ship the items to outside metro Atlanta DFCS offices throughout GA.

Check out our biggest needs and see how your financial donation can work.
Check out our in-kind largest needs and see how your goods can help.
Check out our volunteer page and see what you can do to help.

Two million dollars will retire the debt for our permanent facility and secure our organization
for the future to help thousands of children in crisis.
Come visit and volunteer to see what we do first hand.
