Donations Make a Difference

Donations are accepted at the Mansell Place Distribution Center on Tuesdays through Saturdays 10AM - 12:30PM by appointment only. Donations for the resale shop (i.e. furniture, home decor, housewares, collectibles, etc.) should also be brought to the Mansell Place location and will be transported to the resale shop from the FCSF center if it is not used for the children. Important: we cannot accept furniture without approval at this time due to capacity.

We need in-kind goods of new, like-new and gently used items to provide for children. Clothing items below are items that we are the lowest on or almost out of but we take all items of both genders and all sizes to maintain our inventory and serve over 3400 children.

Clothing items:

  • Men’s underwear: sizes M and L

  • Boys Tops and Pants/Shorts: Sizes 12/14/16/18 (Summer AND Winter)

  • Men’s Big & Tall Clothing: Sizes 3X and 4X

  • Boys Pajamas: Sizes 10 and up

  • Girls Pajamas: Sizes 14 and up

  • Reinforced filament packing tape (used to seal boxes mailed to kids living too far away to come)


General Toys/Accessories
We accept toys for all ages in great condition or new. Please make sure all parts and pieces are included if pre-owned. The items below are the items that we are the very lowest on but we take all toy items year round.

Helmets: Adult and Child bicycle helmets, all sizes.

Games: board games and individual strategy games for children ages toddler to teen.

Toys for Girls
Crafts or play things for girls ages 8 and up are always more in demand since items for younger children come in more often.

Toys for Boys
Crafts or science kits, legos (especially lego people) or educational toys, especially for boys age 7 and up are always welcomed.

Items we do NOT accept:

Used mattresses, suitcases (as they cannot be laundered), used masks, used underwear, broken items, stained or torn clothing, broken items or toys with missing parts

Waste Not.

Items not currently needed for distribution can be sold at the Fostering Hope Charity Resale Shop (open to the public) to help support our program costs for 4700 children each year. This is one of the ways we raise funds to help purchase items not donated in enough quality or quantity to meet demand. You can also shop select items online in our Charity Resale eBay Store.

Oversized Items

(Notice: oversized pickup service is currently unavailable)

Due to our limited space, oversized item donations need to be approved before drop-off. If you have large furniture to donate for the resale shop, text clear photos and a brief description of the items to 770-310-2919 and we can let you know if we have available space to receive it. We apologize that we cannot pick up items due to our current staff size. Approved Items can be brought to the FCSF Distribution Center by making an appointment here.
