Car Seat & Bike Safety Resources
Car Seat and Bike Safety
We want every child to ride safely, whether they’re buckled into the back seat or heading down the street on a bike. FCSF provides car seats for children in kinship care who don’t have one, or whose seat no longer fits their age and weight or isn’t in safe condition, and restored bikes with helmets for children old enough to ride. These free resources from the State of Georgia can help you make sure each one is used the right way.
Car Seats
Georgia law requires children under 8 to ride in a car seat or booster seat that fits their height and weight.
